Created for love.

God didn’t create me so I could go to church. Neither did He create me so I could be a lawyer. Whilst both of those things, among many other things, are important that is not why He created me.

God created me so He would have a relationship with me. A relationship full of love, joy and peace. He rejoices over me with singing. He dances in my heart. He loves being with me and I love being with Him. He filled me with His Spirit so that not even a day or a moment would pass by when we are not together. He gave me His Spirit as a promise of the great things to come. Love unfolds each day in my heart and I see Him more clearly with each new day than I did yesterday. I was created for love and so were you.

I implore you to spend some time reflecting on His love for you. Hear God saying to you, I have loved you with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I will continue to draw you to Myself (see Jeremiah 31:3).

Bottoms up, let’s drink from the beautiful cup of love that the Father is giving to us.
