As 2022 comes to a close, we can’t help but think, “What’s 2023 going to be like?” We don’t know what the future holds. Only God knows the future. What we do know is God’s plans for us are good. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out – plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”

Whatever lies ahead, we have the beautiful promise that God has plans to take care of us and give us the future we hope for.

We don’t need to have all the details about 2023. We just need to know that God will be with us in 2023. Same God who has helped us navigate 2022 will help us navigate 2023 and conquer what needs to be conquered. Overcome what needs to be overcome. As we do that, I pray that we draw closer and closer to God with each day. So that at the end of 2023 we can say we know God a little more than we did coming in.
