Something to sing about.

Psalm 33:4 says, “For God’s Word is something to sing about! He is true to his promises, his word can be trusted, and everything he does is reliable and right.”

I’m not one for sad songs. I don’t like things that make me feel depressed. One thing I do enjoy is music derived from or based on the Word of God. It instils hope for a brighter tomorrow. For He promises that the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter. 

The word of God sets for us an example of those who have gone before us and it paints us a picture of the immutable character and nature of God. God’s word can be trusted. God can be trusted. If God says He will do something, the only thing that will stop Him is not the devil- it’s us. Unbelief or lack of faith is the one thing that stops God in His tracks. 

Let’s choose today to be the day where we choose to believe God’s word is true. Let us place our faith in God whose word is trustworthy. Every single thing God does is reliable and right. We can lean on Him in everything and He will never let us fall. Now, that’s something to sing about!
