I forgave you.

Ephesians 1:7 says, “He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins”.

When sin entered the earth, God knew that there was nothing humanity could do to pay the price for sin and restore the relationship between God and man. Therefore, our Father sent His Son Jesus Christ that He may come and die for our sins on the cross. When Jesus died on the cross He took all the punishment that was meant for our sins and He paid the price. He was raised back to life on the third day by the power of the Holy Spirit.

What Jesus did on the cross far outweighs any sin that you have ever committed, are committing or will commit. God’s forgiveness is there for us to accept into our lives. Revelations 3:20 says, “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends”. All our sins have already been forgiven, all we have to do is accept Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and invite Him into our hearts to fellowship with us.

There is nothing you can do that will disqualify you from receiving Gods mercy and grace. Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” So, if you drop the ball today, it is quite alright. We are all on a journey, no one is perfect. You may ask your heavenly Father for forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 says, “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness”.

God stands at the door of your heart today knocking. He says, “I already forgave you, will you let me in?”

If you would like to accept Christ into your heart today, pray this prayer with me, “Heavenly Father, I thank You that Your Son Jesus Christ died for me. I pray for your forgiveness over all my sins. I accept Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen”.

If you prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of believers! Is that it? You may wonder and the answer is yes. God’s forgiveness is available for the taking and it is that easy! Make sure you find a local bible teaching church near you where you can get plugged in and begin your journey with Christ. It is always good to surround yourself with believers who will encourage you along the way. You may also write to me and share your journey and what God is doing in your heart.

Be blessed!
