I found you.

Have you ever been lost on your way to something important like a job interview and you cannot find the building or the offices? It does not happen often anymore with GPS but it is not fun being lost. I feel that being lost robs you of your confidence and makes you vulnerable. It is no different with the children of God. When we are lost, it is not that God does not know where we are, it is just that we put ourselves in a position where we lose our confidence in who we are and we become vulnerable to the attack of the enemy.

Imagine being lost and your phone battery is dead and you cannot check where you are or call a friend to help. You are totally at the mercy of the people around you, whether or not they will help or you will find yourself going back to where you came from. However, God does not want us to be at the mercy of the world. Sometimes their phone battery is dead too and they leave you worse off than you were before. God comes and He finds us when we are lost. He sends us people to encourage us. A friend who invites us to church. A song that makes you connect to Him. A beautiful sunset that sets something off in your spirit. God has many ways of coming to find us, but rest assured He does not rest until your heart is aligned with His and your phone battery is back on and you are able to connect with Him again to get direction on your life.

I too, was once lost for a few years. But God did not stop pursuing me. He came for me. That same God who took me in His arms some years ago and said, “I found you!” is saying the same thing to you as you read this post. Let go of fear and fall into His arms of love. He won’t let go of you.

Luke 15:8-10 says, “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

If you are not walking with God yet but you want to, just whisper to God that you are ready to be found. He knows how to get to you.

Be blessed.
