"And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give."

Because I said so.

God is not human, neither is He flawed or working with some hidden agendas. God’s love is pure.

We serve a God who can do all things, but who doesn’t always do what we expect Him to do.

Comparison will always leave you disappointed.

A lot of people are doing great by their own standard, but God does not measure us against what we think we should be doing.

"... does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law?"

"...It’s totally your fault that Hagar despises me—and you’re not standing up for me! ..."

Be convinced that God is good, and that God has every intention of keeping His promises to you.

God is good.

So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love.
