Stronger with Him.

Ephesians 3:16, “I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit”. Sometimes when we are weak we shy away from God because we don’t want Him to see us weak. However, God already knows that without Him we are weak. It is His Spirit who strengthens us inwardly to face each day as it comes. 

Have you ever been through a really dark day that you neither saw coming nor thought you were prepared for but somehow, sometime later you turned around and realised that you are still breathing? Even though you may still be dealing with some stuff, you are doing much better than you thought you would be doing. That is a sure sign of the Spirit of God empowering you with inner strength to keep trusting God and to keep putting one foot in front of the other. 

We should never be worried or afraid of what tomorrow holds. For whatever strength we need to face the day, God has given us His Spirit as security to ensure we neither have to face it alone nor do we have to do it in our own strength. God Himself infuses us with strength, inwardly, so we can keep walking with Him and keep holding onto His promises for He sure is faithful. No matter how bad it may look, God’s promises never fail. The night will turn to day. His light will tear through the dark. His Spirit, will ensure that you are fully equipped to make it through the things that come up in life until the day God calls you home. 

God has unlimited resources. So instead of shying away from Him when we are in trouble, let us learn to run into His wide open arms and allow Him to empower us to overcome in life.
